Rich Moisturizing Body Butter Recipe

Let's get started! Here is a simple recipe to get you on your way to a chemical-free and eco-friendly journey. The Healing Sprig is all about simple, easy, and no fuss... who needs complicated right?



Simple Body Butter Ingredients:

1/2 cup of shea butter
1/2 cup of cocoa butter 
1/2 cup of coconut oil
1/2 cup of sweet almond oil
Optional: 10-30 drops of essential oils of choice

Directions:

In a glass bowl or double boiler combine all ingredients, except essential oils.
Bring to medium heat and stir until all ingredients are fully melted
Remove from heat and let cool slightly add essential oils (of choice)
Move to fridge for an hour or until it starts to slightly harden
Whip or fluff with hand mixer 
Place in a clean jar,
Let it set in fridge for about 10 to 15 minutes
*Might start to melt if kept in temperature above 75 degrees.

Viola! you got yourself a rich moisturizing body butter!
